Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

RiMe accepts contributions on the above topics all year round. Alternatively, contributions can be sent in reply to the Journal Calls for Papers by the deadline indicated in the call.

The Call Announcements will be published on the RiMe website and Facebook page. You can also receive them by registering as an author on the Journal website.

The following types of contributions are welcome:

  • Theoretical articles (about 6.500 words)
  • Research articles (about 6.500 words)
  • Conference and Book Reviews (about 3.000 words)

Contributions should be written in Italian, English, Catalan, French and Spanish. In text citations and references must strictly conform to the Harvard edition style (please see Norme editoriali in Italiano and Editorial policies in English).

Authors are kindly requested to refer to papers on the same theme previously published in RiMe and, where relevant, to cite them in their submission.

Authors are also expected to view and agree the following ethical standards.

Peer review policy
Manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process involving two reviewers and the editor of each issue, if any.
